Making friends with myself. LOVING MYSELF.
Believing more in the good than the bad.
Replacing anxiety and doubt with prayer, mantras, well wishes for others and the world.
Knowing I am making a difference in the lives of two very important humans: children growing into adults. Therefore I am making a difference in the world.
Feeling grateful for those who have made me realize that this role is exactly where I want to be. A stay-at-home mom. ABOVE ALL ELSE. Well except for being a partner to my husband, of course. This is my job now. I make a home and I raise my children and I care for my spouse in the same way I would care for myself. I am so proud of my job; I am so honored to have it. I am the center of a unit which I am lucky enough to call 'my family'. The people I come home to and the ones I never want to go too far from, the ones I call home.
Here are some of the things I am trying to do a little more lately to take better care of myself! We are in the middle of a big transition of moving to my home state and selling our home, and I normally get pretty stressed with any change so I have been really conscious of taking care of myself right now!
Going to the gym, honestly even if its for 10 minutes on the eliptical it is better than nothing!! OR just taking the kids on a walk is such good exercise!
Meditating/centering myself in the mornings for just a few minutes.
Writing a few minutes every day!
Those are such simple things that don’t take a lot of time that feel so good to do.
I would love to know, how do you incorporate self care into your daily life?
