Six Months!

Six Months!

Ollie turned six months old this month! I cannot believe how fast time has flown since becoming his mother. I feel like he's somehow always been a part of me and I can't imagine my life without him. Part of the reason why I started this blog is to remember the little things; my favorite things about this period of our lives! Those things are so easy to forget and they're the ones that I always want to come back to and remember.

This month.... you learned how to sit up so well! You love, love, love the outdoors and we try to spend some time outside every day. This is where you started learning to sit up.. in pumpkin patches, in the backyard staring at trees, or in the park playing with leaves! The outdoors is your sanctuary, and I love that. You can sit up for minutes on end, just looking around, taking it all in, and never getting bored.

You love grabbing anything and everything and putting it in your mouth of course, but you hate every food we have given you! We hope it turns around soon, but we have tried so many different fruits and veggies and you have no interest in any of them! You sure love your milk.

You LOVE talking and you make every noise you can think of. You are always talking, laughing and yelling something! maybe it's because your momma talks so much?! But we just love how much you love to make sounds. You also love banging things together, like your rattles against glass bottles, to make the loudest noises ever! The things that make you laugh the most are when daddy tickles your armpits by kissing them with his beard, and when mommy throws you up in the air! You're getting a little heavy for that but you love it so much I just can't resist.

You still aren't sleeping through the night but you put yourself to sleep so well, and you nap like a king most days! You love taking adventures with mommy and daddy more than anything. We have never loved anything more than being your parents and we can't wait to see what more is to come!
